Release 2024.4 - Groups, TV Menu Updates, and Recipe Improvements
The latest release of Embrayse introduces powerful new productivity features, along with other enhancement, to increase your efficiency and improve resident experience. As always, please reach out to us if you need assistance in taking advantage of these changes.
You can now group residents on the Order and Prep pages. A common use of this feature is to group residents by their dining room seating arrangement, but you may find other use cases specific to your home, such as grouping by texture or assistive needs. When displaying residents by group, header rows are added for each group, making it easier to find residents for serving or oder collection.
To make things even easier, when you navigate to a resident's ordering page, the resident dropdown now follows the same sorting order as the previous list page, including group headers for quicker and easier access.
Resident groups and subgroups can be easily managed from the Settings > Groups area by users with the Admin, Clinical or Chef roles.
The TV menus have had a face lift! Menu items and their photos are now larger, and text contrast has been enhanced for better readability.
We've introduced more customisation options as well. You can now choose to display the next 1, 2, or 3 meal services, and you also have the option to enable or disable showing tomorrow's services. These settings can be adjusted in Settings > TV Menu Boards. Additionally, you can upload your own logo in Settings > Branding, which will appear in the top-right corner of the menu.
The recipe ingredient search functionality has been significantly improved, delivering more accurate results with better sorting when you search.
Accessing recipes is now easier from the Plan screen via the context menu of menu items. This feature helps with estimating ingredient quantities and preparation. Additionally, icons on the All Items screen allow you to quickly identify which items lack a recipe and easily view those that already have one.
The new print friendly version of recipes allows you to keep a hard copy for offline viewing.
